About Priority One Studios
Priority One Studios is dedicated to sharing original Southern Gospel music rooted in faith and the message of Jesus Christ. We work with songwriters to bring both new songs and treasured songs from years past to life through today’s music production. Our purpose is simple: to preserve the songs, share their message, and encourage hearts along the way through Gospel music.
Meet the Songwriters
The songs shared through Priority One Studios come from songwriters whose music has grown out of faith, life, testimony, and years of experience. Meet the writers behind the songs and discover the stories that inspired the music.
Richard Calhoun
I first met Richard when he was 11 months and three weeks old. Of course, I don’t remember the meeting—I was the newborn. We’ve been brothers ever since.
Stories Behind the Songs
Every song has a story. Some were written recently, while others have waited for years to be heard. Through Priority One Studios, we’re preserving those stories and sharing the faith, memories, and experiences that gave birth to the songs.
